On my second week in my new job now; slowly understanding things do to with the company as the days pass. Challenges face me everyday in my new position but I am growing as I conquer them (sometimes with a little help ;) ).
I have good chats with the girls in my office and the handy man on sight - to be honest, they are all a little bonkers (a bit like me). I am starting to feel like I am getting to know the new people I am working with and they are getting to know me...
... Must be starting to settle in!

1. - New Beginnings
This is my first 'blog' and I have no idea what to say...
My name is Emily and I'm just a typical girl. I just left my job in childcare where I was friendly with all the staff and felt really comfortable, you see. There was something about working with children that I absolutely adored; the way that they would run up to you and be your best friend in an instant without any worries in the world. Maybe I'm just a big kid at heart. Maybe that's why I enjoyed it so much. Maybe I shouldn't have left...
...but opportunities don't come along very much in the current climate so when I was presented with one, I had to take it. A new beginning. I have just started working full time as a secretary in a legal firm which is a bit scary as I'm still trying to find my feet there. My cautiousness around new people makes it difficult for people to get to know me at first but I hope that in time they will see that I'm not that stuck-up girl that doesn't speak to anyone. Only time will help me to adjust to my new role.
